4. About our courses

Intensive group courses – 5x per week from Monday to Friday

• Our classes are international, so you listen and speak German right up from the first day.
• You are learning German in a small group with 5 students in an average. As a maximum there are 8 students in class.
• Course schedule for groups is Monday to Friday from 9am to 12:30 with a break of 30 minutes from 10:30 am to 11:00am.  You can extent this course with private lessons (1-to-1) according your own wishes.
• 1 lesson lasts 45 minutes.
• Before you start your course you will do a comprehensive placement test* in order to start right away in the group of your knowledge of German. Only for absolute beginners the placement test is not applicable.
• There are 7 course levels based on the level system of "Common European Framework of the European Council".
• This courses are also suitable to prepare for the Goethe certificates ZD, ZMP, ZOP, KDS, TestDaf and the DSH exam of the university.

One-to-one training – any time regarding your needs

• For learners who have a very particular schedule and particular demands on German.
• Course start: any day, any time
• Costs per lesson: 32 €

On top of the courses we offer you a leisure activity programme which will help you to practice your German and to meet new people in Bamberg. Your family and friends are also invited to join. We do walking, bicycling tours, go to the movies, meet in bars, cook together and do excursions to Nuremberg, Würzburg but also Munich, Berlin and other cities.

We are a small language school which specialized on German courses for adults. Our school brand >>Treffpunkt<< (meeting point) indicates our emphasis on extra activities to familiars our course participants with the German culture and people. So social integration, interest and openness for foreign cultures and new experiences have an extraordinary priority for us.

Placement test: Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 am or if agreed upon in the afternoon and evening.

4. Enrolment

A one-time inscription fee of 20 € is charged on top to the course fees. In the course levels A1, A2 and B1 we will work with the text book Delfin in the higher levels B2, C1, C2 we select the text book according the student requirements.
Copies are included in the course. The use of a course book will depend on the course and is not covered by the fees.
